Juliet Maynard, Esquire, MBA
Attorney, Juliet Maynard, has been practicing immigration law since 2004.  She began practicing immigration law in a nonprofit organization in Virginia, before she opened her own law firm in Columbia, Maryland in 2005. She also sees clients in Fairfax, Virginia by appointment.

Ms. Maynard has successfully defended clients who were being deported in removal proceedings in Immigration Court in Baltimore, Maryland,  Arlington, Virginia,  New York City and Albany, New York,  York, Pennsylvania, Port Isabel Detention Center, Texas and St. Louis, Missouri.  In addition, she represents immigration clients throughout the United States and around the world.

She has also successfully appealed cases to the Board of Immigration Appeals and the Administrative Appeals Office.  She represents clients seeking waivers from grounds of inadmissibility, including criminal convictions, drug offenses and crimes involving moral turpitude, detained and non-detained clients in immigration court and clients applying for family and employment based green cards, finance visas, asylum, NACARA, TPS, DACA, naturalization, employment visas, including: H1-B, L1, EB.  

Ms. Maynard graduated from the University of Pittsburgh School of Law, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, with a Juris Doctor degree, with a concentration in International Law.  She has active law licenses and is in good standing in Maryland, U.S. District Court of Maryland and Washington, D.C.  She has an inactive license in West Virginia.  

Before attending law school, Ms. Maynard graduated with a Master of Business Administration degree, Finance concentration, from the University of Baltimore, Baltimore, Maryland.  She also has a Bachelor of Arts degree Business Administration degree and an Associates degree in Accounting from the University of the Virgin Islands, St. Thomas, United States Virgin Islands.  

Ms. Maynard is a veteran, who served as an active duty member of the United States Army.  She enjoys running, hiking and other physical activities.

Having grown up on the Caribbean island of Nevis, Ms. Maynard enjoys interacting with clients from all over the world and from different cultures.  She has traveled to many countries and obtains great satisfaction from being able to help her clients from countries throughout the world.
